My name is Meg and I have always loved to travel about, experience new cultures and try new adventures having been exposed to them from a young age. I am currently 19 and have had the pleasure of visiting 14 different countries, some of them more than once and I wish to see that list expand as I learn more about the world around me.
I started at university studying architecture but after complications that led to me re-doing two of my first year modules I started to become restless. I wasn't happy with what I was doing with my life in that very moment, yes, I love architecture but settling down and studying it right away just won't make me happy. I have a hunger for travel and experiencing the world that needs to be fulfilled.
I am starting my adventure on a working holiday visa in Perth, a beautiful city that I was lucky enough to spend a few years growing up in, here I am hoping to reconnect with those glorious childhood memories. I intend to do a bit of working in Perth, earning my second year visa and eventually my third before taking off in a campervan to experience more of what the stunning country of Australia has to offer me.
Once I have exhausted my supply of working holiday visas to Australia I am planning on doing pretty much the same thing in New Zealand and possibly Canada so watch this space!
In delays between my first, second and third visa I am planning on visiting South-East Asia, maybe for a couple of months at a time. I have been drawn to the beauty of this region of the vast continent for quite some time and I am so excited to experience the breath-taking views and wildlife in person instead of marvelling at them on google images...
Who knows what this journey may bring and what I may learn from it, I may come back to England deciding that architecture may not be the way forward for me or maybe it will; or maybe I just won't come back to England at all (the preferred option). All I know right now is that I will not be satisfied doing something that does not make me happy and my happiness right now is the most important thing to me.
